
Driving Courses in English!
Do you live, work or study in Poland for at least 185 days each calendar year and wish to get a driving licence? We offer driving courses for categories B and C conducted in English at the Warmian-Masurian Zakład Doskonalenia Zawodowego (Vocational Training Institute)!

Category B Driving Course
To take a category B driving licence course, you should meet the following statutory requirements:
- Be at least 17 years and 9 months old,
- Obtain an appropriate medical certificate of lack of health contraindications (provided by a medical practitioner authorised to examine drivers),
- Reside in the Republic of Poland for at least 185 days in any calendar year due to personal or professional connections, or provide a certificate of study for at least 6 months,
- Acquire a driving candidate profile (profil kandydata na kierowcę – PKK) at the transport department with jurisdiction over your place of residence or domicile – we assist you in this process.

The category B driver's ed course in Olsztyn includes:
- 30 hours of theoretical lessons – familiarising you with the general regulations arising from the road traffic code, with particular emphasis on issues related to driving,
- 4 hours of theoretical lessons and exercises in first aid for victims of road accidents,
- 30 hours of practical lessons – both on the manoeuvring area and the road – aimed at pragmatically refining driving skills and preparing you thoroughly for the exam.
We offer driving a car with an automatic transmission for those wishing to do so.
The state exam for the driving licence in category B includes:
- Theoretical part – computer-based test to verify your knowledge of the rules of the road and how to drive, available in English, German, and Ukrainian,
- Practical part – consisting of tasks in a manoeuvring area and driving around town.

Category C Driving Course
The Category C Driving Licence targets drivers who wish to be authorised to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight (GVW) – including lorries, slow-moving vehicles and truck hauliers. The Category C Driving Licence allows you to improve your professional qualifications significantly.
Course Content:
- 20 hours of theoretical lessons – familiarising you with the general provisions of the Road Traffic Code of the Republic of Poland, with particular emphasis on issues related to driving heavy goods vehicles (HGVs),
- 30 hours of practical lessons – both on the manoeuvring area and the road – aimed at pragmatically refining driving skills and providing thorough preparation for the exam.

Statutory requirements for participation:
- Age – at least 21 years of age (you can start the course 3 months before your birthday) or 18 years of age if you hold a certificate of professional competence (code 95) for categories C and CE, including an initial qualification,
- Residency in Poland for a minimum of 185 days in a calendar year (due to personal or professional ties) or certificate of study in Poland for at least 6 months,
- Category B Driving Licence,
- An up-to-date psychological certificate confirming the absence of contraindications to driving heavy goods vehicles,
- An up-to-date medical certificate confirming the absence of any contraindications to driving heavy goods vehicles,
- A Driver Candidate Profile (profil kandydata na kierowcę – PKK) obtained at the transport department with jurisdiction over your place of residence or domicile – we assist you in this process.
State Driving Test
- Theoretical part – computer-based test to verify the participant’s knowledge of the regulations and driving on the road,
- Practical part – final examination consisting of tasks on the manoeuvring area and driving around town.
